Introduction

Hi everyone! My name is Alex. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a while, but couldn’t quite find the courage. Well, here goes.

I’ll start by telling you all a bit about myself. I’m 19 years old, and I’ve basically been obsessed with books my whole life. Recently that obsession has grown into a love of television. So this blog will mostly be about books and tv shows.

Over the last few years, I’ve made commitments to read more diversely, and now I hardly ever pick up a book if there’s not some aspect of diversity in it. Some of my favorites include Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, and anything by Anna-Marie McLemore or V. E. Schwab.

My all-time favorite tv show is Supernatural. And yes, I know, that’s probably the least diverse television show on the air, but I like it for a different reason (which I’ll get into in a different post). I also love Modern Family, Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Wynonna Earp. 

I hope you all decide to stick around! I get a little (or a lot) excited when it comes to books and tv shows, so I’m excited to share my thoughts and opinions with all of you.
